Compassionate, non-medical support for individuals and families navigating the dying process.

What Is an End-of-Life Doula?

Most of us have heard of a birth doula — someone who walks alongside a mother through the journey of bringing new life into the world.

An end-of-life doula offers something beautifully parallel: a compassionate presence that walks alongside individuals and families through the journey of leaving it.

End-of-life doulas are non-medical guides and companions trained to support the dying and those who love them.

We don’t replace doctors, nurses, or hospice teams. Instead, we fill the spaces in between — the emotional, spiritual, and practical spaces that medical care wasn’t designed to hold.

Dying is one of the most sacred passages a human being will ever move through — and no one should have to navigate it alone. As your end-of-life doula, I offer non-medical, deeply personal support to individuals and families in the final chapter of life. My role is to walk beside you: holding space, offering guidance, and helping ensure that this time is met with dignity, presence, and love.
